EXPLORE MOSCOW → KUSKOVO ESTATEKuskovo Estate was built by Count Piotr Sheremetiev in the late 18th century as a summer palace with a French style garden and now fairly enjoys the reputation of the “Moscow’s Versailles”. The estate has an excellent collection of ceramics and porcelain. Its architectural heritage comprises of 20 buildings artfully placed among the gardens: Dutch House, Italian House, Hermitage, the Church of the Archangel Michael, the Palace and the Orangerie are the most notable. The Ceramic Museum displays china, porcelain and pottery from all over the world, with a particularly fine Russian collection from the 18th century.
